Google Chrome makes it incredibly easy to manage bookmarks. If you are unfamiliar with bookmarks they are basically icons that appear below the browser address bar that act as convenient shortcut links to websites you specify. You can also create folders in the same area to organize a series of bookmarks in case you want to categorize and consolidate them. The image below shows how bookmark icons typically appear. This is called the Bookmarks Bar.
Simple steps to manage Google Chrome bookmarks
1. If you are already signed in to your Google account press Control (Ctrl) + Shift + O on your keyboard to open Bookmark Manager. This will also work sometimes if you aren’t logged in. Otherwise, if this does not work then go to the Google search page and click on Sign In.
2. Once you are signed in press Control (Ctrl) + Shift + O, or from the menu on the top right of the browser choose Bookmarks and then choose Bookmark Manager from the submenu.
3. Inside Bookmarks Manager you will have options to manage bookmarks in two locations. Available options include Edit, Add a Page, Add a Folder, Export Bookmarks, and more.
