Follow these simple instructions to change the MS Office / MS Word theme color from the default color of white. You may have noticed that your new version of MS Office / MS Word came with a default white interface. While this application interface looks clean and modern, there are many users that prefer a dark gray color like earlier versions of MS Office or light gray for a little more contrast.
Simple Instructions to Change MS Office / MS Word Theme Color
1. Open MS Word.
2. From the top menu inside MS Word choose File and then Options.
3. Inside the Options look for the section called Personalize Your Copy of Microsoft Office.
4. In the section Personalize Your Copy of Microsoft Office locate Office Theme.
5. From Office Theme choose to change the colors of the theme to white, light gray, or dark gray and click Okay.
