The famous Apollo 11 footprint of man’s first walk on the moon.

There have been six (6) successful manned moon landings with a total of twelve (12) astronauts that have walked on the moon contrary to the conspiracy theory that the moon landings were faked. All of these moon walks took place between 1969 and 1972 as a part of NASA’s Apollo Program. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first astronauts to walk on the moon’s surface (specifically the moon’s Mare Tranquillitatis, translated Sea of Tranquility) on July 20, 1969. The United States is the only country that has successfully walked on the moon, however, the Russian cosmonaut Alexey Arkhipovich Leonov, performed the first spacewalk in 1965.

A series of photos were taken of the moon’s surface by NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) 2009. Several photos show clear evidence of astronaut footpaths and Apollo Mission debris again debunking conspiracy theories that have claimed the moon landings were faked.
